Why banks and landlords ask for it
Shop and Establishment registration is state law regulating working conditions. It applies to offices, IT parks, restaurants, and retail—not only 'shops'.
Banks, commercial landlords, and franchise licensors often demand Shop Act certificate in KYC packs.
